Terms of service

Short version: the server is yours while you have it, and everything that happens on it is your responsibility.

1. You must be 13 or older to launch a server here.
2. The server you launch is your responsibility. You are its operator: what gets built on it, who you invite, what they do once they are there, and anything that comes out of it. If you make it public, you are responsible for it being public.
3. Keep the content age-appropriate. Anyone joining could be 13. Nothing sexual, nothing gratuitously violent, no slurs or harassment, nothing hateful, and nothing illegal — in builds, in signs, in book text, in chat, or in a server name.
4. Don't attack the backend. No attempting to break out of your server, reach the host machine, reach anyone else's server, read or alter anything you were not given, or otherwise gain access you were not handed.
5. Don't try to extract anything from it. No mining, no crypto, no using a free server as compute for something that isn't building in Minecraft.
6. Don't try to keep a slot you're not using. No scripting the launch page, no idle-holding, no queue-stuffing with alt accounts.
7. Your server is temporary and unbacked. It ends after 48 hours or 20 minutes idle, whichever comes first, and the world is gone once your zip expires. Don't put anything here you would be upset to lose.
8. You also agree to the Minecraft EULA, which governs the server software itself.
9. Servers can be stopped. Break these and the server stops, no warning and no zip.

If you find a security hole, report it instead of using it — that is genuinely welcome and is not a breach of these terms. Anything else, or to report a server: Discord.
